New Business; Norm
- The Federation National Championship is April
17 – April 22. The
Eastern Divisional is September 16-21 and is unofficially going to be out of
Ticonderoga
.
- A motion was made and accepted to purchase tickets for
Norm to go to the Federation Championship in April.
There will be Presidents’ meetings and TBF Board meetings taking
place there.
- There was lengthy discussion about the estimated
budget and the State Team account and what money covers which expenses.
The goal is not to go backwards now that we aren’t getting an
alliance package and we don’t know from one year to the next where the
State Team will place so we don’t know how much money will come in from
that.
- It was determined that we need to operate so that the
State Team account at least zero’s out or goes ahead but not behind.
It was determined that the proposed budget has the correct inflows
and expenses. We prioritized the
expenses as follows: 1)
Hotels for State Team 2)
National Championship Support(2 members)
3)State Team gas reimbursement 4)
State Team meal allowance 5)
State Team deposit refund. A
motion was passed for the above prioritization. I
will have to check my notes…
- A motion was made and accepted for the support of the
two National Champions as follows: we
will pay $1,250 to the boater and $750 to the non-boater with receipts.
The non-boater doesn’t need money for prefishing because they are
riders only during the tournament.
- A motion was made and accepted to raise the Federation
open fees to $125 and drop the payback to 75% from 80%. The proceeds from
all three opens are budgeted for the State Team.
- A motion was made and accepted for the State Team to
run the three opens because they are getting the proceeds.
