Frank thank=
ed
everyone had a great time at Nationals.&nb=
sp;
Matt & Gilly did a great job and did well in some really bad
weather.
· =
The TBF put=
on a
really good show. They spend =
a lot
of time and money on Nationals and it was really well done. They did a great job shuffling peo=
ple
around to and from the airport and gassing up the boats and trucks, etc.

Out of our =
$25
TBF fee $23 in spent on us so that means that 99% of what we pay comes back=
to
us. That is why it is so impo=
rtant
to keep out memberships up to date and paid up.
· =
For every m=
ember
of FLW/TBF there is $1 that goes into the Ranger Cup. We have $250 in Ranger Cup money t=
o give
away this year to a Ranger Cup qualified person at one of our events. We have five anglers in our Federa=
tion
signed up. You can become Ran=
ger
Cup qualified with any year Ranger boat.&n=
bsp;
Frank needs to put a plan together and submit it to Ranger in order =
to
receive the $250. There was l=
ots of
discussion about how this should be done and then a motion was made and
accepted to split the Ranger Cup money between the three opens with money b=
eing
paid to the highest Ranger Cup finisher in each open.

Frank was
wondering why we don’t push our youth to be FLW members as well as TBF
members because their TBF membership is $5 a piece and it costs the TBF $7 =
for
insurance. Timmy says that he=
tried
a year ago and didn’t get any interest.

B.A.S.S. has
dropped their casting kids program so Frank was wondering if we shouldnR=

try to do more with our Reel Kids program.=
Maybe we should consider doing it at next year’s SportsmenR=

some cutbacks from our sponsors due to the economic times. Berkley has reduced is discount and
Castrol has dropped the Mr. Bass prize from $500 to $100. We need to promote the sponsors wh=

discussion about the youth and the fact that maybe they should hold a car w=
ash
or some sort of fund raiser to help support themselves financially. Right now all they have to d=
o in
order to be able to fish is whatever their own clubs require of them. Bob Crino wondered why we were
discussing it and suggested that maybe it’s time again for a meeting
between the Youth Director(Timmy) and the club youth directors. Timmy agreed
and will set one up.

Everyone wa=

more details about a Club vs. Club tournament. It seems that some don’t wan=
t to
give up on open.

Please keep
updating club rosters with current and correct cell phone numbers and e-mail
addresses.

the fact that our officers can be bonded for $100 for three years and a mot=
ion
was made and passed to get bonded.

Frank sugge=
sted
that the Federation needs its own scales and equipment for our Open tournam=
ents
instead of borrowing all the time from the clubs. A motion was made and passed to pu=
rchase
scales and equipment up to $500.
