North Country Bassmasters Ice Breaker Open at Moore Dam Reservoir May 10th 2009
Mothers Day May 10, 2009 and
where are our anglers? Why fishing of course!
The 2009 ICE BREAKER OPEN lived
up to its name. With temps in the low forties and wind chills in the thirty’s 11
teams took to Moore Dam Reservoir to compete in the one of the first opens of
the year. The target was Small Mouth Bass and with the exception of one confused
Largemouth that’s what was brought to the scales.
The early season limit on Moore
Dam is 2 Bass per angler and each team brought in 4 fish. And when the bags were
put to the scales three teams were rewarded for the efforts!
